At the press conference after a special session of the Government of Serbia, in addition to the three topics that were on the table, another one was mentioned, which caused laughter in the room and among the ministers.

Namely, President of the National Assembly Ivica Dacic today managed to make people laugh with a comment that refers to the time he spent in the opposition.

When asked about the current opposition's protest because of the construction of a jadarite mine near Loznica, the Serbian president said he was surprised about that, since these people are protesting against the decisions they made themselves while they were in power - and then he mentioned Assembly President Ivica Dacic.

"Imagine that in five years I come to Belgrade Waterfront to protest against Belgrade Waterfront? You would put me in an asylum. Meanwhile you (journalists) are dead serious when you report about people who are protesting against themselves, as if they forgot that they made those decisions. Not me, not us, but them. Well, maybe Ivica did, because he has been in every governments. The man has never been in opposition. And now he's going to tell me that he was, for two years, from 2000 to 2002," said Vucic, to which Dacic replied:

"Well, I was in opposition for two years and I saw that it was no good," he said, which made everyone present laugh.
