The deterioration of the health the patriarch of the Serbian Orthodox Church (SPC) came due to a chronic heart condition.
The patriarch is now feeling well, without any problems, after having a period of deteriorated health over the weekend, which has now been stabilized.
A council of specialist doctors is monitoring the health of His Holiness on a daily basis. Patriarch Irinej has been hospitalized at the Karaburma Military Medical Center since November 5, after regular testing confirmed he was positive for Covid 19.
