ToMontenegro planes are still grounded, and as things stand, that will be the case for a long time to come, because the Labor Inspection annulled a job competition issued by the new Montenegrin airline for Labor Law violations, Dnevne Novine writes.

After a complaint, which was submitted by the representatives of Montenegro Airlines workers, Inspector Sonja Pejovic withdrew the documentation and established that ToMontenegro posted all job ads through the private site Zaposli.me, instead of through the Employment Bureau, which is its legal obligation as a company that is 100 percent state-owned.

In her decision, which Dnevne Novine had obtained, Pejovic stated that Executive Director Predrag Todorovic said nobody had been hired via those ads nor had any employment contracts been signed, i.e., that no one was given a job in this way, so there had been no legal consequences.

The decision specifies that it is indisputable that he violated the provision of the Labor Law according to which he was under obligation to report any vacancies to the Employment Bureau, and the Bureau announced the same, since this is an employer whose founder is the government with a 100 percent share.

It is added that the responsible person was told about the violation of the law and ordered to remove the stated irregularity committed in the procedure of advertising vacancies through the site Zaposli.me within eight days, and to inform the inspector of having done this, in writing.
