A spokesman of the government in Pristina, Perparim Krieziu, commenting on a statement by EU Commissioner for Foreign and Security PolicyJosep Borrell - who said that he expects a new round of dialogue between Belgrade and Pristina on May 11 - to say that no invitation had reached the prime minister's office.

He added that it may have been an idea or an agreement reached with Belgrade, but not with Pristina.

"The prime minister's office did not receive an invitation or notification about a meeting on May 11. Maybe it was an idea or even an agreement with Belgrade, but not with us," Krieziu posted on Facebook.

He added that Prime Minister of the Provisional Institutions of Pristina Albin Kurti will travel to Brussels today with Deputy Prime Ministers Besnik Bislimi and Donik Gerval, for bilateral meetings with heads of EU institutions.

"Dates, places and the agenda of the meetings have a meaning and application when we agree on them, and not when they are imposed unilaterally," Krieziu said.

Earlier on Monday, after a meeting with President of Serbia Aleksandar Vucic, Borrell said that the continuation of the dialogue is possible on May 11.

Vucic said that Belgrade is always committed to dialogue and a return to the negotiating table, but it is necessary for both sides to respect the signed agreements.

"It's important to see what the demands of the Albanians will be, but what our request is, is to fulfill everything that has been signed. We need to talk about important solutions, compromise and peace. We are dealing seriously with the rule of law. We can calm many things down. I believe that our work and engagement will be rewarded at the end of July by the European Commission. In one move, I hope we can open more chapters (in the EU association process). We are committed and I think we can do a lot."

If Kurti appears at that meeting, the president said that one should go slowly and not expect that something will change after just one meeting, and that the only solution is to talk.
