Minister of Health Zlatibor Loncar said today that 47.8 percent of citizens have been completely immunized agaisnt Covid so far.

Loncar also stressed that the problem with the coronavirus pandemic will not be solved without mass vaccination, and that the most important thing now is to vaccinate as many young people as possible so that the upcoming period would be safe.

"We have not yet reached 50 percent, we are now at 47.8 percent fully vaccinated. In order not to be surprised by something that will surely come, and that is a new wave, we must move towards the vaccination campaign of the youth in Serbia," said Loncar.

He once again appealed on young people to get vaccinated, so that everyone is safe.

It's not possible to get out of the pandemic unless a sufficient number of citizens, primarily young people, are vaccinated in the shortest possible time, Loncar concluded.
