Bakir Izetbegovic confirms he will meet with President Aleksandar Vucic

The leader of the SDA of Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) party, Bakir Izetbegovic, confirmed today that he intends to speak with President of Serbia Aleksandar Vucic in the coming period.

"We have not yet precisely arranged the meeting. There is resistance, but I will go to every meeting that can prevent a bad scenario and where I can influence to calm things down and go in the right direction," Izetbegovic told FTV.

Asked whether the meeting will take place in Banja Luka, Belgrade or Sarajevo, he said that this does not matter to him, Klix.ba is reporting.

"I will not debase myself if I go to Belgrade. I intend to talk and achieve what I said, so that there is no conflict, so we understand each other better, so we can coordinate our interests. If it wasn't for the SNSD (party) and Dodik's policy, this would be an almost normal country today, with a much higher standard of living, we would be at the door of the EU and would join NATO," Izetbegovic believes.
