Joint police exercise on Lake Perucac: "Terrorism is a global threat, it knows no borders"

Interior Minister Aleksandar Vulin on Tuesday attended the final day of joint training of members of the Diving Unit of the Gendarmerie of the Republic of Serbia and the Special Anti-Terrorist Unit of the Serb Republic on Lake Perucac, and was assured of the readiness and abilities of members of these units, the Ministry (MUP) announced.

"Terrorism knows no borders, it is a global threat and we must be particularly ready to fight terrorism. Today, here on Perucac, you showed a high level of training despite the cold weather and low temperatures, but above all, you showed a high level of patriotism. You are a pillar and support of the Serb people. You have shown that in times of trouble, the Serb people have someone to count on, to rely on. You are the guarantor that each security challenge will be successfully overcome, and the lives and property of the citizens of Serbia and the RS will be preserved," Minister Aleksandar Vulin told members of the Diving Unit of the Gendarmerie of the Republic of Serbia and the Special Anti-Terrorist Unit of the Serb Republic.

Members of the Diving Unit of the Gendarmerie of the Republic of Serbia and the Special Anti-Terrorist Unit of the Serb Republic during their joint training improved their skills, abilities and knowledge in combatting terrorism and preserving the security and property of Serbia and the RS.
