The world's best tennis player, Novak Djokovic, is going through one of the most difficult moments in his life and a great injustice done to him by Australia's authorities and politicians.

After he was treated like a second-class citizen and a criminal at the airport, Novak was told almost 12 hours of torment later that he had been denied a visa and would be deported from Australia.

Novak has filed an appeal, so the decision will be made on Monday, when the Victoria court will have the last word.

Until then, Novak has been taken to a quarantine hotel where conditions are inhumane and where basic human rights are being violated. Many migrants, who have been detained in the same place for years, know it well, and have complained that the food given to them had worms and mold.

That is why Novak has asked his country, Serbia, to help him transfer to a house he rented, in order to have more or less normal conditions until the verdict is pronounced, and this is something President Aleksandar Vucic, who spoke with him for the second time, revealed on Thursday as he spoke to reporters.

But, Novak is not alone. A large number of Serbian fans have been gathering from the early morning hours in front of the hotel where he is staying, cheering him on constantly, playing music, chanting and carrying Serbian flags, which raises the morale of the world's best tennis player to stay strong and come out of all this even stronger.

Djokovic was also filmed sending kisses from the window and thanking the fans for their support, and before that he made a heart gesture with his hands, expressing gratitude for the love he is receiving in the most difficult moments.
