Johnny Depp eying a house in Serbia: He's interested in property next to Djokovic's, in "celebrity paradise"

Famous Hollywood actor Johnny Depp, according to the media, has allegedly decided to add another item to his list of luxury real estate, this time in our country.

During his last visit to Belgrade on the holiday of Sretenje this year, when he was awarded the Gold Medal of Merit of the Republic of Serbia for his exceptional contribution to our country in its efforts to expand and improve the local art community, Johnny also visited Mt. Kosmaj, Kurir Stars writes.

He and his friends stayed at several locations on this Serbian mountain in order to, as stated, look at the houses and plots of land on which he would build a property that he wants to own in our country, to which he is very attached.

"Johnny wanted to visit Kosmaj last time when he was in Serbia. He heard all the best about that part of Serbia. He didn't go then, but he told his friends that he had to do it the next time he came. He found a few hours in a busy schedule, so he toured several houses and plots. He was especially delighted when he heard that Novak Djokovic also had a home there, whom he really respects. Several plots really attracted his attention, one very close to Novak's property, so he told his associates to look into it until he came to Belgrade again. By the way, since he now had a little more time than last time, he also visited several restaurants, where he took photos with friends," claims a paper's source.

"I have a passion for everything here - kebabs, someone told me something about plum brandy too, but I haven't had a chance to try it, maybe once (laughs). I didn't get anything here except gifts. Emir Kusturica gave me a whole new life. Now I am at the beginning of a new life and I like the fact that this beginning is in Serbia, if you want me, of course," Depp pointed out during the award ceremony.

Johnny decided to buy a property on the Kosmaj mountain, where Novak Djokovic also has a villa he bought from Elena Karaman and Jugoslav Karic. After the sale, Elena bought a house on Kosmaj again, and in addition to her, this mountain has been chosen for living or escaping from the capital by the family of the late singer Merima Njegomir, actor Nikola Kojo, Ivan Milinkovic, the family of the late Sanja Ilic and many others.
