90 kilometers from Belgrade, in the territory of the municipality of Ljig, lies Rajac, a mountainous landscape that is a part of the Suvobor Mountain.

Although sometimes Rajac is treated as a mountain in its own right, it still does not have all the elements in the geographical sense - there are no passes and gorges, but that does not diminish its beauty.

Beech, oak, fir, ash, and pine woods, as well as divine glades intersected by streams and rivers, are a feast for all nature lovers who want to get to know this part of Serbia better.

Rajac, as its name suggests (from "raj" - Serbian for, "paradise"), is so named because it reminded those who visited it of paradise. Even today, it absolutely lives up to that name; if you ever visited, you saw for yourself.

If you have not visited Rajac and doubt the claim that it is like heaven here, just ask the mountaineers who flock to this part of Suvobor every weekend to enjoy the beautiful nature.

If, on the other hand, you like a more dynamic vacation, you can try paragliding on Rajac, especially when the north wind is blowing.

In the summer, during the first week after the feast of St. Peter (Orthodox calendar), the event "Kosidba na Rajcu" (Rajac Scythe Festival ) is held here, where the best mower is chosen, while other participants can enjoy traditional dishes, cultural and artistic programs, and panels.
