Serbian Prime Minister Ana Brnabic said today, while replying to journalists in Mostar, that she does not know whether she will remain prime minister, but that at the moment the priority is not who will get what job in the new government, and that instead it is important to continue working on improving the living standard of citizens and preserving peace and stability in the country.

"I had a meeting with President Aleksandar Vucic yesterday. We discussed election results with the SNS team, but we focused more on what we can do for Serbia at the moment, because the elections are behind us, and we have to focus on the crisis which is in front of us," said Brnabic, who was attending the opening of the International Trade Fair in Mostar.

Brnabic said that her party must ensure continuous growth and development of the country, as well as create jobs and make sure salaries and pensions rise.

She noted that the majority of citizens expressed confidence in the SNS and President Vucic, adding that they continued to pursue their political agenda as soon as on April 4, so that by the end of 2026 the average salary in the country would be 1,000 euros and pensions 500 euros.

Brnabic stressed that she is yet to discuss with President Vucic and other members of the party who will hold which position in the government, and who will do what job.

She thanked all citizens for the trust they showed for the list headed by Aleksandar Vucic in the parliamentary elections, and for contributing to Vucic's historic victory in the presidential vote.

Asked whether she will remain Serbia's prime minister, Brnabic said that at the moment that does not matter:

"I don't know if I will remain prime minister of Serbia, and that is the least important thing at the moment," Brnabic said.
