Djokovic is a step closer to eternity and breaking record: He's seven weeks away from making ATP history

The best Serbian tennis player, Novak Djokovic, kept the top spot on the ATP list this Monday, after he won the title in Rome by defeating Stefanos Tsitsipas in the grand final in two sets (6-0, 7-6). He thus increased his points balance by 400 and now has 680 more than second-placed Medvedev.

Novak is in first with 8,660 points, and this was also his first title of the season. This week is the 370th at the top of the ATP list for the Serbian, who is one step closer to breaking the record set by legendary Steffi Graf, who was at the top of the women's list for 377 weeks. In addition to all that, Djokovic secured his status as the first seed at the French Open.

Behind Daniil Medvedev is Alexander Zverev, who added 180 points to his previous balance and now has 7,200, followed by Stefanos Tsitsipas, who overtook Rafael Nadal thanks to playing the Rome final. The Greek is now fourth with 6,170 points, while the Spaniard is in fifth place with 5,525 points.

Carlos Alcaraz with 4,770 points is in sixth place, followed Andrei Rublev who is seventh with 3,945 points, Casper Ruud again progress to eighth place with 3,940 points, while Felix Auger-Aliassime is ninth with 3,850 points, followed by Matteo Berrettini in tenth with 3,805 points.

When it comes to Serbian tennis players, Miomir Kecmanovic kept the 31st spot with 1,316 points, Laslo Djere advanced eight places and is now 51st with 991 points. Filip Krajinovic fell two places and is now 56th (965 points), while Dusan Lajovic also slipped two places and is now 66th with 896 points.
