Prime Minister of Albania Edi Rama said on Sunday that his country will abolish all customs tariffs for goods from so-called Kosovo, starting with agricultural products.

"We have come up with a plan to abolish all customs tariffs for goods from Kosovo, we will completely eliminate them. We want this to be bilateral with the government of Kosovo," Rama stated, Tanjug reported citing Koha.

He added that it did not make sense for Albania to abolish customs duties for the member states of the Open Balkan initiative, and keep them for so-called Kosovo, Koha said.

The 8th meeting between the Albanian government and the government of the Provisional Institutions of Pristina will be held today in Pristina, Koha reported.
