The preliminary hearing in the Higher Court in Cacak regarding the indictment against Ilija Glisovic, who is accused of committing triple murder, has ended. The accused did not appear at the court, although this was planned.

"He was not brought from the Special Prison Hospital, by law he does not have to be present at the preliminary hearing, but will have to be there at the first hearing scheduled for October 6," Radisav Vesovic, Glisovic's court-appointed defense attorney, told RINA.

Vesovic pointed out that all the evidence proposed by the prosecutor and the defense, which will be presented at the first hearing, was determined at the preliminary hearing.

"I visited Ilija several times in the Special Prison Hospital. He is under constant treatment in that institution. So far, he has given two statements to the prosecution regarding the case for which he is charged, which were completely contradictory, confusing. Expert examinations were carried out, above all regarding his sanity, then DNA tests, trace analysis and biological expertise. All of these will be examined during the hearing," added Vesovic.

Ilija Glisovic is accused of committing triple murder in April by killing his mother, father and grandfather in the Kulinovci settlement in Cacak.
