Odalovic: Kurti is a ticking bomb, he behaves like an adventurist, but is getting weaker and weaker

The president of the Serbian Government's Commission for Missing Persons, Veljko Odalovic, believes that the international community can do a lot in the next three weeks, when drivers will be warned to re-register their vehicles (from Serbian) to "RKS" license plates

Veljko Odalovic believes that the position of the prime minister of the provisional institutions in Pristina, Albin Kurti, is getting weaker since he ignored Washington's request to postpone the decision on re-registration.

On Monday, unknown drones were observed in the area of Merdare and in the vicinity of Raska, which were carrying out surveillance of the barracks and positions of the Serbian Army, and which shortly afterwards left the airspace of central Serbia.

Veljko Odalovic wonders how it is possible for KFOR to allow unmanned aerial vehicles to get above our barracks. He believes that the incident with drones is the intention of Prime Minister in Pristina Albin Kurti to continue with provocations.

Kurti does not want to talk, he is behaving like an adventurist and it is too dangerous for such a man to be prime minister, Odalovic told RTS, recalling that with all his decisions he is trying to create an atmosphere verging on incidents.

Since Albin Kurti ignored Washington's requests to postpone the decision on re-registration, Odalovic believes that his position will be weaker and weaker.

He is warning that that if, after fining those Serbs who do not change their license plates 150 euros, their vehicles are confiscated, that will be a boiling point for Serbs in Kosovo and Metohija, adding that he does not believe anyone will agree to it.

Odalovic believes that the international community can do a lot in the next three weeks, when drivers will be warned to re-register their vehicles.

"I am very interested in the reaction of the US. It's Kurti's dangerous adventure. Previously, only a wink from Washington would have been enough for Kurti to stop," said Odalovic.

He added that he expects a more serious reaction from influential countries, since the Pristina decision is contrary to the Brussels Agreement. "Kurti is a ticking bomb and those who created him must restrain him," added Odalovic.

The Quint countries (US, France, Italy, Germany, UK) have an obligation to warn Kurti about his illegal decisions, noted Odalovic.

He stressed that Ivica Dacic also in his previous mandate as minister of foreign affairs made a great effort to explain to the representatives of the countries that recognize Kosovo that the Community of Serb Municipalities (ZSO), through Serb police officers and judges, should act as guarantee that no one will be subjecting Serbs in Kosovo to repression.
