"It's worrying that weapons have been brought into the police station, that is, sniper rifles, and that clearly shows the intentions of the government in Pristina. Everything we have been warning about for a long time is now coming true," said Todic

The former mayor of Leposavic, Zoran Todic, said that the night passed peacefully on the barricades in this municipality, in Lesko and Ibarska Slatina, and as for the shooting that was heard last night in Zubin Potok, he said it is not true that a KFOR patrol came under fire.

"After the incident in the territory of the Zubin Potok municipality, tensions also increased in Leposavic. However, the people are determined to persevere in this fight and are determined to fight for a safe future in these areas," Todic told TV Pink, as reported by Tanjug.

He stated that although it was said that EULEX and KFOR would deliver food and hygiene products for members of the Kosovo police who are at the station in Leposavic, two days ago there was a EULEX vehicle at the head of a convoy that reached the station, and behind them were members of the ROSU special unit armed with rifles.

"It's worrying that weapons have been brought into the police station, that is, sniper rifles, and that clearly shows the intentions of the government in Pristina. Everything we have been warning about for a long time is now coming true," said Todic.

He stressed that at this moment the key is the state of Serbia being determined not to allow violence against the Serb people in Kosovo.

"Unity has been created, which was much needed. We have no business in Kosovo institutions when the only thing we get from them in return is violence and rifles. This time there is no backing down. As far as we are concerned this is Serbia, people do not want to live in an independent Kosovo," said Todic.
