Markovic: We presented an ugly image to the world, and didn't condemn shooting of Serb children

He stressed that Serbia has become stronger, that there is political stability in Serbia, that investors are coming, and that yesterday's incidents in the parliament call that into question

President of United Serbia Dragan Markovic Palma said in the Assembly that that his party will vote in favor of adopting the report on Kosovo and Metohija, but that he was surprised that during the debate unity was not shown on the most important national issues.

Markovic expects that in the coming period, those who have been deciding about Serbia in the world for years will change their attitude and start implementing the agreements from Brussels onwards, but that he also expected that everyone in the Assembly would all together condemn the fact that there is no ZSO and that agreements are not implemented.

Markovic also noticed that none of the so-called patriotic and religious parties mentioned the demolition of tombstones in Kosovo on All Souls' Day or the seizure of Serb property in the village of Dren to build a police station.

"We sent an ugly picture to the world, we didn't say that Serb children were shot and that we jointly propose to the president and the parliament that it be condemned and that the international community make a statement. These are topics of vital importance for citizens," said Markovic.

He stressed that Serbia has become stronger, that there is political stability in Serbia, that investors are coming, and that yesterday's incidents in the parliament call that into question.

He asked the deputies to get serious, because, as he said, this is the moment before the beginning of the Third World War, and Serbia is in everyone's way.

Markovic said that the president of Serbia has the support of the citizens, and that we should not lose Kosovo because of arguments.
