Very strong wind has been blowing in Belgrade for days.

The kosava wind is blowing today especially, and at very high intensity.

Gusts of southeasterly wind during the morning and afternoon reached over 50 kilometers per hour, in some parts of the city even faster, sometimes even reaching storm speeds.

As a result of strong impacts and wind surges, a tree fell near the BEO Shopping mall. For now, there is no information about any material damage.

Unfortunately, strong kosava will continue throughout the day, but also in the following period. Even stronger gusts of wind are expected on Friday and Sunday, again coming from the southwest and with storm-like quality.

Kosava will weaken for a short time on Saturday.

A moderate to strong southeastly wind, occasionally reaching storm speeds, will blow in Belgrade at the beginning of next week, and its weakening is expected on Tuesday.

As very strong kosava is expected in the next 5 days, often accompanied by stormy gusts, caution and avoiding staying in parks and forests is recommended.

Additional caution will also be necessary in traffic.
