Video of horrific robbery in Chinese mall: Security guard attacked with gun, knocked to floor, beaten up

Sead D. (45) and Damir DZ. (46) have been arrested on suspicion of having committed aggravated robbery in the New Chinese Shopping Center in New Belgrade, and as Telegraf has been told, they will be questioned today at the Higher Public Prosecutor's Office.

As the MUP (Interior Ministry) told Telegraf, they sprayed a substance on a security guard, beat him with a gun, tied his hands and feet, tore video surveillance cables, and stole 23,000 euros and 40,000 dinars from a safe.

Belgrade police officers identified and arrested two suspects, the third is still at large.

Members of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in Belgrade have arrested S.D. (45) and D.DZ. (46) on suspicion that they committed the crime of robbery.

It is suspected that, on May 29 this year at around 11:40 pm they - in a Chinese shopping center in New Belgrade, together with another person whom the police are intensively searching for - hit a security guard several times on the head and body, and then tied his hands and legs with scotch tape and string.

Then, it is suspected, they tore the cables from a video surveillance receiver and broke into a store from which they took a safe with 23,000 euros and 40,000 dinars in it.

Most of the money was found in possession of S.D. and D.DZ.

The suspects were brought to the Higher Public Prosecutor's Office in Belgrade along with a criminal complaint.
