A truck driver (40) was killed this morning around 9 o'clock in an accident that happened on the Ibar highway near Orlovaca, on the approaches to Belgrade.

Firefighters, traffic police and emergency services are at the scene of the tragedy.

Telegraf.rs has learned that the truck driver lost control of the vehicle and drove off the road.

The cabin was completely crushed by the forceful impact, and the driver's body was pulled out of it.

The truck was transporting sand.

The investigation is ongoing.
