According to information from the Border Police Administration at the Batrovci border crossing, cargo vehicles have been waiting for eight hours this morning to exit the country, however, according to some drivers, some have been waiting for as many as two days in a long line that has formed.

One of the truck drivers told Telegraf.rs that the line is almost 9 kilometers long, and the drivers are exhausted because they say there is not even anyone to bring them water.

"It's extremely hot, it's said that some have been waiting for two days. There is no one to bring us a bottle of water. I don't even know if we will have anywhere to go to the toilet. The column stretches almost from the Shell gas station in Sid to the border with Croatia. I've been waiting since 4 in the morning, so far I've moved only a kilometer," our interlocutor says.

As he explains, yesterday they heard from a woman at the toll booth that no one had moved a single meter in 7 hours.

At the Bezdan crossing, trucks are waiting three hours to exit, while at the Horgos and Kelebija crossings, the wait time is two hours.
