Details about Red Star supporters' attack on Manchester City fans: They were beaten with wood sticks

The police are looking for young men who assaulted Manchester City fans last night around 11 pm, masked and armed with wood sticks.

The Manchester City fans are in Belgrade for the Champions League football game between their club and Red Star (Crvena Zvezda).

Telegraf.rs has learned that it is suspected the attackers are Red Star fans ("Delije") and that around 30 of them took part in the incident.

According to eyewitnesses, they burst into a bar in the city center where about 20 (Manchester City) fans were sitting.

The assailants then proceeded to hit them on their heads and bodies.

After the attack, the group fled towards the city center.

The confrontation was recorded by the cafe's security cameras.

The police are working on identifying the attackers.
