President Vucic posts video of "happy birthday" display on Belgrade Tower dedicated to Serb Republic

Serb Republic (Republika Srpska, RS - Serb entity in Bosnia and Herzegovina, BiH) celebrates its day today, and on that occasion a message was displayed on Belgrade Tower, reading, "Happy birthday Serb Republic."

Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic posted a video showing this on Instagram, captioning it, "Serbia wishes a happy birthday to the Serb Republic."

The central event to celebrate the Serb Republic Day will be a ceremonial parade today on Krajina square in Banja Luka. The event will also be celebrated in other local communities, and in the Brcko District on Wednesday, January 10.

The Serb Republic was created on January 9, 1992, under the original name the Serb Republic BiH (Srpska Republika BiH).
