Minister of Foreign Affairs Ivica Dacic said today that Prime Minister of Pristina's provisional institutions Albin Kurti with the decision to activate the decree on the abolition of the dinar in Kosovo is sabotaging the dialogue and devising moves that could hinder the negotiation process in the long term.

"In this respect, we are certainly not surprised by such moves, because he is constantly coming up with some new ones that could hinder the negotiation process in the long term. He is actually undermining further dialogue here, because if you keep making such moves, then the question arises in general of some plan that someone has and its purpose, and the credibility of the participants in that dialogue," said Dacic.

Dacic told TV Pink that the abolition of the dinar in Kosovo and Metohija makes it difficult for Serbs to function in everyday life.

"The Brussels agreement envisages that Serbia helps and gives money to various institutions of the Serb people in Kosovo and Metohija. What is worrying here is that you have a reaction from the international community that appeals, regarding each of such ideas - that appeals to prolong the issue," said Dacic.

Commenting on a resolution of the European Parliament regarding the elections in Serbia, he said that it is certain that they will try to draft a text as bad as possible for Serbia.

"Above all, we should be aware of the scope of those resolutions from the European Parliament. The European Parliament does not make decisions that are considered binding in that domain, when it comes to political resolutions. It's all unpleasant - because you have to deal with," commented Dacic.

When it comes to the political situation in Serbia after the elections, Dacic believes that the opposition is not aware of it and that the opposition thinks that "someone from the outside will now help them solve their position."

"No kind of resolution will bring them anything of the sort," said Dacic.

He believes that the opposition's announced obstruction of the work of the National Assembly is an alibi for their poor election showing.

"Everything that is happening now is in fact an alibi, finding another way to justify those bad results. Vucic did not win by one percent compared to the list of Djilas, instead it was a huge victory and a huge margin," said Dacic.

Dacic addedd that the opposition does not have a plan for political struggle and development of Serbia by 2027.

"You don't have any manifesto here, no program orientation," said Dacic, speaking of the opposition.
