In a coordinated international operation carried out by investigative teams from Serbia, the Public Prosecutor's Office for Organized Crime, the Appellate Prosecutor's Office of Greece, the Ministry of Interior, the UKP, the BIA, the Greek and Spanish police, EUROPOL and EUROJUST, 6 people got arrested in Serbia last night.

In addition, one person was detained in Spain and Greece each.

They have been arrested on suspicion of committing the criminal offense of conspiracy to commit a criminal offense and the criminal offense of aggravated murder.

This concerns the commission of the criminal offense in Athens on January 19, 2020, when Stevan Stamatovic and Igor Dedovic were murdered, and on July 23, when the same happened to Alan Kozar and Damir Hadzic, who were were killed in Corfu.

The criminal charges cover a total of 19 suspects, six of whom were arrested in Serbia: D.T., V.M., S.V., N.D., V.V. and R.S., who will be questioned at the Public Prosecutor's Office for Organized Crime in Belgrade, after which a decision will be made on initiating investigative procedures.

In addition to these suspects, one person was arrested in Spain and in Greece each, while six persons are in custody and prisons in the Serbia and Montenegro, with six currently at large.

The criminal complaint includes citizens of the Republic of Serbia who are suspected of involvement in these crimes.
