President of Serbia Aleksandar Vucic stated on Sunday today that he is proud of Serbia's struggle in the United Nations, saying that the truth cannot be defeated by force.

"I am proud of how, in the days behind us, we fought for Serbia in the UN. I am grateful for the understanding and respect that Serbia received, and I hope that our people will also be sincerely proud of their country, of its struggle and the love that we all together showed toward our fatherland.

He added that the courageous defiance and demonstration that the truth cannot be defeated by force has always been and always will be Serbia's way.
"Because what we are guarding, and what we swore on to our people, is sacred to us," the president concluded.
