Former footballer Nikola Petkovic was arrested last night in Belgrade for endangering security and abusing and tormenting a boy.

We have learned that on May 30, after two groups of primary school students clashed in central Belgrade, Petkovic uttered a series of insults and threats directed at the boy at the scene of the event, which were related to him and his family.

"He told him: 'Once you turn 18 I will find you and kill you, your father and mother, I will f**k your sister or brother'. In that way, he insulted the dignity of a person," announced the First Basic Public Prosecutor's Office in Belgrade.

He will be questioned during the next 48 hours.
