"From this week we will walk assured..." Vucic's first post after health scare

Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic posted a video on his Instagram account, in which he spoke about what was achieved during the previous working week.

Vucic stressed that the efforts of the citizens of Serbia cannot be stopped:

"From this week, we will walk assured, with faith in our hearts and souls, because a Serbia, which creates, builds and dreams, cannot be stopped by anyone," said the president.

Vucic recalled the challenges the country is facing, but also the strength and resilience of the people:

"We've been through difficulties, encountered obstacles, but they did not break us. They could not, because the dreams of a people who believe in work, honesty and love of their country cannot be destroyed."

He encouraged the citizens to continue working together for a better future of Serbia, emphasizing the values that have always guided the people:

"Pride, dignity and faith in a better tomorrow have always guided us! That's why we continue together towards the goal, I walk in front of you as a shield, to fight and to give everything I can for the country I love. We must all move forward for Serbia's sake - together, strong, unwavering. Long live Serbia," stated Vucic.

On Saturday, the president was admitted to Belgrade's VMA clinic after he felt severe chest pain while abroad in the US.

After receiving medical assistance there, Vucic decided to end the visit and returned to Serbia. He was discharged from the VMA on Saturday afternoon.
