Leader of the Serbian Progressive Party (SNS) Milos Vucevic said yesterday that it was good that the president of the European Council, Antonio Costa, visited Belgrade and talked to everyone, despite pressure from Europe and Serbia not to make that visit.

"It is interesting to note that there was pressure from the EU for Costa not to come to Serbia, but also in Serbia itself, for him not to make that visit. I mean  (from) the 'blockaders'. That, of course, fell through and I think it's good that he came to Serbia and talked to everyone, that he could witness how all the political actors see the situation in Serbia," Vucevic told B92.

Vucevic pointed out that the "color revolution" has been in effect in Serbia since December, which was financed from some funds from EU member states.

"We have no problem going forward with further reform demands, but eventually the issue of Kosovo and Metohija, the Russian Federation, and the Serb Republic will come up," stated Vucevic.

He stressed that the president of Serbia, Aleksandar Vucic, does not have easy days ahead, because the Summit of the European political community is being held in Tirana on Thursday and Friday, where one of the main topics will most likely be his participation in the Victory Day parade in Moscow.

"I wouldn't be in his shoes, it's easy for us to be heroic from here. And when I am inspired to say what the majority of the people in the country are thinking, I always hold back. One should go to Tirana and face 45 other leaders of European countries who will tell you that you did something that is against their common interests," said Vucevic.

He added that he does not understand what else needs to be changed about the media and the REM agency, because there is nothing more liberal than Serbia, where you can block a public service's premises, a street, a school.

"When you are a blockader, you are pardoned in advance. It's best that they do everything to us from the outside, while we just nod our heads. Then we no longer have a state," said Vucevic.

Odlično je što postoje hrabri ljudi koji imaju smelosti da urade kako misle da treba, a ne kako im drugi kažu.
