Director of the Office for Kosovo and Metohija Petar Petkovic said today that it is comical for the prime minister of Pristina's provisional institutions, Albin Kurti, to be praising the role of the US, and attacking Belgrade.

Petkovic explained that this comes after Kurti personally rejected the Washington Agreement, spoke fiercely against US President Donald Trump, and has for 12 years refused to implement the Brussels Agreement.

Petkovic posted this on X, reacting to Kurti saying that Belgrade is violating the basic agreement, that he welcomes the role of the US - and this came after Trump's statement that his administration would once again get involved in the dialogue between Belgrade and Pristina.

"Kurti doesn't want agreements or dialogue, he wants to expel the Serbs! That's why immediate deescalation and formation of the ZSO (Community of Serb Municipalities) is a prerequisite for any progress in the dialogue," Petkovic wrote.
