Disgraceful! This is how Croats report about Vlade Divac's accident: "He snatched flag, threw it on ground..."

Legendary Serbian basketball player Vlade Divac had a traffic accident in Montenegro last night, when he fell off his motorbike.

As the local media reported this morning, he injured his hip had to have it replaced in urgent medical procedure.

Thanks to the quick response of the emergency crews, Vlade Divac is now in good condition and is expected to return to normal activities in a few days.

The whole of Serbia was initially concerned by the news that the former NBA player and member of the Los Angeles Lakers had an accident, in Croatia, they used the opportunity to refer to a detail from the distant past.

An article on the Vecernji List website has this headline - "The man who snatched the Croatian flag and threw it on the ground ended up in the hospital..."

The article also mentioned that Drazen Petrovic and Divac were great friends, until this ended because of the war in Yugoslavia.
