Russia does not deserve any evil to come its way from Serbia, those who abuse Serbia in this way must be held responsible, the Movement of Socialists has announced.

"The Movement of Socialists welcomes the decision of Commander in Chief of the Serbian Army Aleksandar Vucic to suspend the export of ammunition from our country. Every bullet that ended up on the Ukrainian battlefields and was fired at our Russian brothers is a bullet that was fired at Serbia, at our history, at our future, at our honor," the party stated, and added:

"Russia does not deserve any evil to come its way from Serbia. We remind you that Aleksandar Vulin, while serving Serbia as director of the Security-Information Agency (BIA), introduced an additional condition for issuing permits for export of ammunition, by which the buyer undertakes the obligation not to give away or sell Serbian ammunition to any third party without Serbia's consent.

For this reason, the Movement of Socialists is demanding that the Government of Serbia forms a working group that will check all contracts concluded so far and thus examine whether the terms of the contracts have been complied with. Whoever abused Serbia must be held responsible."
