Serbian MUP: Blockades in Belgrade and rest of the country have been removed, and all roads are passable

All blockades in Belgrade and in the rest of the country have been removed and all roads are passable, the Serbian MUP (Ministry of Internal Affairs) announced on Thursday morning.
During the previous night, the Serbian MUP officers checked the identity of a total of 1,297 persons, while 79 persons were brought in.
Out of that number, 72 are suspected of misdemeanors, while seven are suspected of committing criminal offenses, the MUP said in a statement.
Sporadic incidents were recorded in some places, where the police acted in accordance with the law.
Incidents happened in the following locations: Belgrade, Nis, Novi Pazar, and Novi Sad, where a number of people have been detained for disturbing public order and peace and committing criminal acts.
Participants in the blockaded injured four police officers and damaged an official MUP vehicle, according to the statement.
The Serbian MUP is once again appealing on citizens to refrain from any illegal activities and not to block traffic, especially not in a way that may endanger their own safety, and the safety of others.
