Gruesome details emerge! Double murderer had previous domestic violence conviction! Telegraf in Bajina Basta

A Telegraf crew was on Monday afternoon in the village of Obajgora near Bajina Basta, where Mihailo R. (69) murdered his wife Ana S.R. (46), originally from Russia - who was in the process of divorcing him - as well as their 7-year-old son, before committing suicide.

The tragedy unfolded in a house completely isolated from the rest of the village, that can only be reached via a macadam road.

Telegraf's reporter at the scene said the house, along with three auxiliary structures, is a bad condition, isolated, standing in a clearing in the middle of the woods, near the local cemetery.

The place is eery, especially now that the horror that took place there last night has emerged. Police tape is wrapped around the gate in front of the entrance to the house, and traces of blood and broken front door glass can be seen.

No one could have helped Ana or her child on Sunday night, considering that the nearest home is some way across the woods and meadows.

According to initial unofficial information obtained by the Telegraf reporter at the scene, Mihailo R. had a previous domestic violence conviction, and it was the late Ana who reported him.

The verdict arrived in March. There was no restraining order preventing Mihailo R. from approaching his wife and child at the time he committed the murders.

It is not known why the woman, who did not live there for some time, decided to go to the house. It is speculated that she might have been taking the son to visit his father. However, there was probably an argument and the situation escalated, and Mihailo R. shot and and killed them both before taking his own life.

After the divorce proceedings were initiated, Ana moved to Novi Sad.

According to another unconfirmed scenario, the child lived with the father and the mother had gone to the house to see him.
