Vucic and Roquefeuil discuss common interests of Serbia, France and the region

President of Serbia Aleksandar Vucic met today with Director for Continental Europe at the French Foreign Ministry Brice Roquefeuil.

The spoke about the common interests of the two countries and the region, and pointed out that fruitful bilateral cooperation and friendly relations between Serbia and France represent the pillars of our diplomacy.

"We stressed our commitment to further strengthening these ties in all areas, from economy to culture, and the confirmation of France's participation in EXPO 2027 (in Belgrade) is an important step in that direction," Vucic wrote on Instagram.

Speaking about EU integration, Vucic pointed out that the reforms being implemented are crucial for the future of Serbia.

"France strongly supports our European and reform path, and we emphasized the need for the EU to speed up the integration of the Western Balkans for the sake of long-term stability of the region and the continent as a whole," stated the Serbian president.

Vucic also expressed his gratitude to France and its president for their commitment and support toward Serbia's progress.

"His engagement is essential for our joint efforts towards peace and prosperity," Vucic posted on Instagram.
