This town is "the champion" of Serbia heatwave

40 degrees Celsius was measured in Vranje today at 15:00 hours, and that city was at that point on Friday afternoon the hottest as the Serbia heatwave continues, according to data from the Republic Hydrometeorological Service (RHMZ).
At the same time, temperatures reached 39 degrees in Kraljevo, Kursumlija, Krusevac, Cuprija, Nis and Leskovac, while they were one degree was lower in Negotin and Zajecar.
It was 35 degrees in the capital Belgrade, the same as in Valjevo and Sremska Mitrovica.
The coolest weather on Friday was on Mt. Kopaonik, with 27 degrees.
Due to extremely high temperatures, red weather warning is still in force on almost the entire territory of the country.
Orange warning is in effect only in Belgrade, western Serbia and Backa regions.
This heatwave will continue through Saturday, and will end on Sunday.
