President of Serbia Aleksandar Vucic had a telephone conversation with President of France Emmanuel Macron, with whom he discussed current issues, he announced on his Instagram account.

"A friendly and open conversation with French President Macron about bilateral relations and regional issues, especially in light of the current events in Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Kosovo and Metohija.

I pointed out that Serbia remains committed to all processes aimed at preserving peace, cooperation and prosperity and reiterated that the country's development, well-being, as well as protection of the Serb people, are our key national interests.

I stressed our commitment to dialogue and respect for international law, as well as our willingness to contribute to the long-term stability of the region.

I thanked President Macron for his personal commitment when it comes to the Western Balkans, as well as for the continuous support that France provides to Serbia on its European path, and invited him to visit Serbia," Vucic wrote on Instagram.
