Serbian National Assembly President Ana Brnabic has stated that, unfortunately for Croatian Prime Minister Andrej Plenkovic, there will be no civil war in Serbia.

"Plenkovic says that Serbia is on the brink of civil war. And what else (would he say)? They wanted it so much and invested so much in it. They know that their strategic goal - for Aleksandar Vuzcic not to be the head of state, is the only way to make that happen. Unfortunately for some, and very fortunately for Serbia and the majority of its citizens, for our entire nation, that is neither true nor will it happen," Brnabic posted on X.

She then paraphrased a song by Djordje Balasevic.

"Your money's in vain, kids, your Dinko's and Milo's are in vain..."

Earlier in the day at the Bled Strategic Forum, Plenkovic said that he is skeptical about the expansion of the European Union by 2030, claiming that "North Macedonia is blocked, Serbia is on the brink of civil war, and Bosnia and Herzegovina is under constant threat of secessionism."
