President Vucic reacts after his meeting with Xi Jinping: This is IMPORTANT for all citizens of Serbia!

Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic said in Beijing, during a meeting with Chinese President Xi Jinping, that Serbia and China have ironclad friendship and that trade between the two countries has never been at a higher level, while the Global Governance Initiative, proposed by the Chinese leadership, is a good concept that Serbia will always support.

Vucic said that Serbia perceives China as a sincere friend and that China and its president stood with Serbia when it was difficult both economically and in the sense of the healthcare, but also political situation.

"And Serbia can and will never forget that. Thank you very much for the fact that, because of your initiatives and the free trade agreement, our trade exchange and our exchange of services has never been greater in our history," said Vucic.

He stated that Serbia, together with its Chinese partners, completed the section of the Belgrade-Budapest international railway in the territory of Serbia and that it will be open to traffic in 15 days.

"Thank you for the investment in the Smederevo steel mill by the company HBIS, thank you for the arrival of Zijin to the east of Serbia, which literally supports that part of our country. Thank you for the many investments and my big request to you is if you can help us with investments in the future as well," said Vucic.

Vucic said that the Global Governance Initiative is another extremely important thing that the Chinese leadership is proposing to humanity.

"All three reasons you mentioned, from greater presence and representation of the global south, to the erosion of authoritativeness, the non-compliance with the decisions of the United Nations, to inefficiency in performing important tasks - from sustainable development to dealing with climate change and to what you offered the world, through equality in international relations, non-interference in internal affairs, placing humans at the center of the world and solving their problems, as well as the results, is a good concept for the future that the Republic of Serbia will always support," said Vucic.

The president said he was pleased to have had the opportunity to speak with President Xi and thanked for the warm welcome and exceptional hospitality.

Vucic said that the parade on the occasion of 80 years of liberation from fascism was impressive and left a huge impression in the whole world as well as in Serbia.

Vucic also announced the news about his meeting with Xi on the Instagram account "buducnostsrbijeav" where he thanked the Chinese leader for the warm welcome, as well as for "exceptional hospitality, sincere friendship and support that China continuously provides to our people and our country."

Vucic stressed that he especially thanked the Chinese president for all the investments made by Chinese companies in Serbia to date, including the large ones that have already been made, and announced that he invited more Chinese companies to invest in Serbia going forward.
