President of Serbia Aleksandar Vucic met in New York City with Prime Minister of Israel Benjamin Netanyahu with whom he discussed, among other things, an agreement on free trade between Serbia and Israel.

In a message posted early this morning European time on Instagram, Vucic stated that he had a good and meaningful conversation with Netanyahu.

"It is particularly important that we opened the topic of reaching a free trade agreement between Serbia and Israel, which would be a big step in the development of our future relations," Vucic stated in the post on the "buducnostsrbijeav" account.

The Serbian president is in New York City this week for the United Nations General Assembly, while he and other members of the state delegation are also having a series of bilateral meetings with officials from around the world.
