World is preparing for war, we'll have to as well! Vucic on next moves: I will ask to increase food reserves

The world is moving in the direction of war and I am afraid that few can prevent it, President Aleksandar Vucic said today.

"I would give anything for that not to happen. Unfortunately, I'm afraid I'm right. We will also have to prepare some things that we have not done. Our Army is ready to repel any enemy, but we will have to prepare some other things," he said, and added:

"On two occasions I had all food reserves increased, both for the Army and reserves through our commodity reserves, now I will ask for another increase."

President Aleksandar Vucic is today taking part in a ceremony to open a new high-speed railway connecting Belgrade and Subotica.

During the opening, the president is traveling on the Soko ("Falcon") train on this section, the completion of which represents a significant step in improving the railway infrastructure in Serbia.
