President Vucic to ask Russians ONLY ONE thing: What he said after US imposed sanctions against NIS

President Aleksandar Vucic said today regarding US sanctions against NIS (Petroleum Industry of Serbia) that in the coming period, a working group will be formed of which he will be a member, in order to ensure normal life for the citizens.

Vucic also said that he will ask the Russian friends to think once again about the consequences of the sanctions for Serbia and try to find a solution together with the Serbian side.

"I know very well that the Russians are not to blame for the sanctions, but I, as the president of the Republic, have no right to allow my people to suffer without any reason. And I will not allow that. I have enough patience, enough tolerance that we can negotiate everything. But to allow the citizens of Serbia to suffer through no fault of their own, I can't, I don't want to, I don't have the right to do that," Vucic said as he addressed the public on Thursday.

He added that it is very important to ask the Russians to talk to the Americans, among other things, about the topic of sanctions against NIS.

"I am responsible enough, Serbia comes first to me. I show and we will show respect, partnership, friendship, love, whatever you want, to everyone else, but I love Serbia the most and I owe it to the citizens of Serbia. And that's how we will behave. And we will have time, we will have patience, tolerance to hear and listen to everything," said Vucic.

He added that the citizens of Serbia know that he always speaks the truth.

"Also when we talk about pensions and salaries and these things. I read out to you the amount of reserves of oil and oil derivatives. The gas reserves. You don't have to rush anywhere. Behave in a normal way. Trust your country, now we have to stand united. We will get through this. And I hope and believe that we will do it successfully," said Vucic.
