Minister Mesarovic: Yet more proof about mutual respect and friendship between Serbia and China

Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economy Adrijana Mesarovic today announced that "Serbia Days" will soon be organized in Shanghai.

After a meeting between Prime Minister Djuro Macut and Mayor of Shanghai Gong Zheng, Mesarovic stated that the mayor personally supporting this initiative is a great honor, allowing Serbia to promote its products and thus further improve foreign trade, present our country's economic potential, tourism, culture and other forms of cooperation.

At the meeting that was held in Shanghai, the importance of further development and improvement of comprehensive cooperation between the two countries and two peoples was particularly emphasized, Mesarovic added.

"The event we are organizing will present the potential of our Serbia to our Chinese friends in the best possible way. It is extremely important that the mayor of Shanghai personally supported such an event, which will significantly deepen our relations, but also directly influence the development of our country's economy and make use of the Free Trade Agreement to the greatest extent possible," said Mesarovic.

This, the minister noted, represents yet more proof about the mutual respect and friendship between our countries and peoples, based on the personal and friendly relations between Presidents Aleksandar Vucic and Xi Jinping, who raised the cooperation between Serbia and China to the highest historical level - building a community with a common future.

"Long live the ironclad friendship between Serbia and China," Mesarovic concluded her Instagram post.
