Serbian National Assembly President Ana Brnabic is participating in EU Enlargement Forum in Brussels
Serbian National Assembly President Ana Brnabic is visiting Brussels today, where she will participate in the EU Enlargement Forum, "Completing the Union, Securing our Future", the Serbian National Assembly has announced.
The aim of the EU Enlargement Forum, hosted by EU Enlargement Commissioner Marta Kos, is to raise the dialogue on enlargement to a higher level as a joint political, social and generational project, the European Commission (EC) has said.
President of the European Commission Ursula von der Leyen will speak via video message, while High Representative for Foreign Policy and Security Kaja Kallas, as well as Commissioner for Defense Andrius Kubilius, will participate in the forum.
According to the EC, Prime Minister of Montenegro Milojko Spajic, Prime Minister of Moldova Alexandru Munteanu, Prime Minister of Albania Edi Rama, Director General for Neighborhood and Enlargement Negotiations at the EC Gert Jan Koopman, as well as MEP and Chairman of the AFET David McAllister will also be present.
The gathering will be closed by President of the European Council Antonio Costa.
This is the first EU Enlargement Forum and is taking place at a time when enlargement has gained new momentum as a driver of stability, prosperity and democratic reform across the continent, according to the EC.
