Minister of Foreign Affairs Marko Djuric stated today that everyone who is falsely linking Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic to alleged attacks in Sarajevo three decades ago should be sued for astronomical sums.

Djuric also suggested the money that would be won in these cases should then be spent on humanitarian causes, and initiatives that promote regional cooperation.

"Given the scale of the latest defamatory fabrications falsely linking President Vucic to alleged attacks in Sarajevo three decades ago - claims that are completely false and are clearly aimed at damaging regional relations and Serbia's position - I am inclined to recommend that we sue for astronomical sums all those who invent and circulate these disgraceful stories," Djuric said in a post on X.

Djuric added that "all funds obtained in such proceedings would be donated to humanitarian organizations and organizations that promote regional cooperation."

"Those who trade in lies should be prepared to pay up," Djuric stressed.
