Roads of Serbia is ready for holidays: Drivers warned to pay attention to following things

JP Putevi Srbije ("Roads of Serbia") - the country's public road maintenance enterprise - announced today that it is ready and organized to welcome the upcoming public holidays.

In Serbia, these are New Year's, and Orthodox Christmas (January 7).

The company said that increased traffic intensity is expected on all state roads in Serbia during this time.

JP Putevi Srbije at same time appealed to drivers help ensure safety of all participants in traffic and not go on the road without mandatory winter equipment, as well as to use tire chains on hills and mountains.

The company also urged drivers to respect speed limits and traffic signs, and adjust their speed to road conditions.
