President of Serbia Aleksandar Vucic stated on Sunday that Serbia, in a time of great challenges, remains firmly committed to peace, stability and to preserving its national interests.

"Our freedom-loving past obligates us to always know who we are, to preserve our identity and values and to responsibly build the future for generations to come," Vucic stated on the Instagram account "buducnostsrbijeav".

Vucic also published a video in which he recalled the activities of the past week and said that Serbia continues to choose the path of truth and freedom.

"We continue to offer dialogue and strengthen our security, energy security, healthcare and economy, because these are the foundations of a stable and successful state. We are working and building guided by the interests of our citizens. We help and connect with everyone who wants to cooperate," stated Vucic.

Adding that Serbia has no alternative to peace, Vucic stressed that Serbia has the strength to protect its dignity and its future.

"United and focused on a common goal, we will preserve Serbia and provide it with the place it deserves, the place of a strong, respected and prosperous state," said Vucic.
