Bus and car collide on Smederevo Road: Car driver dies, 7 passengers and bus driver injured

A serious traffic accident took place this morning at 07:50 on the Smederevo Road, in Bolec, as a result of which a 46-year-old man, the driver of a Peugeot 307, was killed.

The victim's car collided with a Lasta bus.

We have learned that so far, seven passengers and the bus driver requested medical assistance, while the car driver died instantly.

Traffic has been suspended in both directions.

The investigation is in progress.

This is not the only accident this morning in the Belgrade area. Between Between 07:00 and 08:00 several pile-ups occurred on the Pupin Bridge, also bringing traffic to a halt.

Another serious accident happened near Bubanj Potok.
