Richard Grenell responds to Marta Kos: "Vucic should follow US, not European path"
US diplomat and US president's envoy for special missions, Richard Grenell, posted on X to state that, "Europe is in trouble" - and also that Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic should follow the US, not the European path.

"Europe is in trouble - your economies are strangled by Brussels. Innovation is almost dead. Companies aren't growing inside Europe. Vucic should follow the US path - not the European path," Grenell wrote.
This was his response to EU Commissioner Marta Kos, who earlier on Wednesday met with Vucic, to then post that they discussed "reforms Serbia needs to stay firmly on its European path and move the Growth Plan forward."
"We agreed to step up our joint work on energy security, cutting dependencies and working together towards an independent Europe," Kos also wrote.
Aleksandar Vucic met with Marta Kos on the sidelines of the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland.
