CHAOS IN BELGRADE: Man gets fired from pizzeria, comes back with CANISTER of GASOLINE!

The Belgrade police have arrested 46-year-old S.G. after he, angered by losing his job, doused a restaurant with gasoline and set it on fire.

Members of the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MUP)in Belgrade detained S.G. on suspicion that he committed the criminal offense of causing general danger.

The drama in a Belgrade pizzeria took place after the suspect, who was until recently employed there, decided to "settle accounts" with his former employer.

He planned revenge, then ran away

According to unofficial information, S.G. was recently fired, which was allegedly the motive behind this dangerous act. He returned to the premises with a canister of gasoline, poured it inside and set it on fire.

Immediately afterwards, the suspect fled the scene.

Workers prevented tragedy

Although the situation was dramatic, disaster was avoided thanks to his former colleagues who were in the pizzeria at that time. They reacted quickly and managed to, on their own, put out the fire before it had a chance to spread to the entire building and the surrounding establishments.

"It all happened in just a few moments. The workers showed incredible composure and immediately started putting out the fire, preventing the entire restaurant from burning down," says a source close to the investigation.

Detention ordered

The police quickly identified and located the fugitive. S.G. was arrested, and by order of the prosecutor's office, he was detained for up to 48 hours. He will then be brought in for questioning, along with a criminal complaint.
